I received a free review copy of the book. The story had several typos and grammatical errors, however the book had a very good plot line, and was different from the normal young romance books especially with the epilogue included. It was a little slow in spots. Very classy and i would recommend the read for teens to young adults.
In Lyric's quest to get over a bad breakup she really put herself out there. It was like a good girl gone wild for most of the story. One act of unselfishness helped her to get back on track though.
I found the book to be well crafted with empathetic characters and nice plot development.
It is an engaging coming of age story that is often quite playful. I enjoyed watching the characters grow while dealing with typical teenage angst and onto mature real life concerns.
The advance copy I received had numerous misplaced / misused words; while distracting the grammar errors did not prevent my enjoyment of this entertaining story.

I voluntarily reviewed an arc of this book. This is the first book that I have read by Evelyn Rosado. I was not disappointed in this book. I love the story. I was hooked from start of the book. I had read the book I one sitting. I can't wait to read more books by Rosado. I will recommend this book.
Lyric, poor Lyric! Her first heartbreak from the boy she thought was her forever, luckily with her best friend Greta (who seemed to want to pick a fight with anyone, which made me not like her so much) on hand with a plan to survive the summer of heartache, Lyric makes it through. The book is easy to read, flows well and is a cute coming of age romance. Something that proves to this young girl that she is the hero of her own story, boys aren't the answer to your happiness!!

Great story of a young girl's first heartbreak and her attempts at moving forward.
Lyric is devastated when her boyfriend Tristen breaks up with her on graduation day. Her bestie, Greta, devises a plan to help her get over Tristen and make their last summer before college memorable! Let the games begin.
This is a really cute story of young love and the road to self-discovery for a young girl on the cusp of becoming a woman. It's funny at times and touching at others. Very good writing.

A very sweet romance book, that was very enjoyable and entertaining. I thought this storyline was very good and quite creative. The story is clean and had a romance that was sweet and it had that "awe" kind of feeling. I thought the author did a great job writing the story so much that it had a nice flow and the characters were very well developed. In fact the characters were so well developed that you felt you knew and loved them personally. If your looking for a clean sweet romance novel, then look no further I guarantee you will enjoy it.
